When selecting a target on the screen, you may end up getting multiple similar targets. If this happens to you, you should pay more attention to the threshold while selecting the target. By adjusting the target threshold, you will get various results depending on its value. You could set a higher threshold so that targets require a higher score to match the template image. So that low-score target images will not be selected by Robotiive.
📝 Note:
The threshold set too high (maximum):
It may cause errors in click actions because the target image may have a score of 0.99, but the threshold set is 1 (maximum). It will cause the target image cannot be found.
The threshold set too low:
It may recognize multiple similar images simultaneously. It will result in an inability to find the target image.
Here is an example of setting a threshold with two different numbers. When we define the target threshold at 0.6, the result in the preview shows two icons got selected. Then, when we change it higher to 0.9, the result shows only one correct target is selected.
Threshold 0.6
Preview Threshold 0.6
Threshold 0.9
Preview Threshold 0.9
