New Features New Property in Excel Copy Sheet Action In response to customer reports of issues with copying Excel sheets in certain files, we are introducing a new property to address this problem. The new property, "Use New API," can be enabled or disabled as needed. By default, this property is disabled. We recommend enabling it only if the "Copy Excel Sheet" action fails to work on your file. Note: The new Excel API has a limitation: it will not copy images on your sheet. This API will only copy text and formulas. Copy Excel Sheet Action Properties Search Bar in Doodle Editor As the number of Robotiive Doodle blocks continues to grow, finding a specific block can become increasingly challenging, especially if you are unsure of its category. To address this issue, we have added a search bar to the left sidebar of the Doodle Editor. This new feature allows you to quickly and easily search for any Doodle block, enhancing your efficiency and user experience. Enhancements • The Scan QRCode Doodle block can now handle more QRCode types. • Made the connection line between blocks clearer when selected in the Doodle editor. • Replaced the toggle button with radio buttons for the Variable Content property in the Set Variable action for better understanding when setting a Boolean value. Dear Robotiive Users, We would like to bring to your attention several noteworthy updates regarding one feature of Robotiive, which is a PDF engine deprecation. Adobe PDF Engine Deprecation If your workflow relies on the Adobe PDF Engine, you must have received an official email from the Adobe team regarding the termination of their PDF Service API. Following this issue, we also deprecated our support toward this engine in our Robotiive. Consequently, you will no longer have the option to select this engine from the configuration menu. We kindly ask you to utilize our available PDF engine as an alternative. We appreciate your attention to these updates. Enhancements • Highlight the matching substring/characters when searching for a specific keyword. • The Extract PDF Text Doodle block now can support extracting text from a specific page. • The ToNumber() operation in the value parser can automatically trim any spaces. • Maintain the last scrolling positions when switching among the open script tabs. In this release, we have introduced a new feature: • As we are concerned about our customer's confidential information, We provide the Hide Text option as a property to hide sensitive information in the Typing action. If you enable the Hide Text property, the text will display as ******* in both Action Property and Script Description. We are pleased to inform you that Robotiive has launched an updated version, v2.49.0, introducing valuable additions to the Doodle Blocks under the Image Operation Category. In this release, we have introduced two new blocks: 1. Scan Barcode Just as its name implies, the Scan Barcode block is designed to scan the barcode in the image and retrieve the barcode content. You can find this block under the Image Operation in the Doodle Editor. 2. Align Perspective Align Perspective block is used to find the template image inside the base using a sift match and warp the base image to match the template. Note: • Align Perspective block may give a "NewFeaturePairInsufficientError" exception when it calculates feature pairs between the base and template lower than "minimumMatchPair". Please check the base and template images. Adjusting sensitivity or using a lower minimumMatchPair may help resolve this issue.

We are pleased to inform you that Robotiive has launched an updated version, v2.48.0, introducing valuable additions to the Excel and Google Sheets categories. In this release, we have introduced two new actions: List Excel Sheets Name: This action allows you to retrieve the names of sheets from Excel files. All sheet names are consolidated into a List variable, offering enhanced data management capabilities. List Google Sheets Sheets Name: With this action, you can seamlessly extract sheet names from Google Sheets files. Like the Excel counterpart, all sheet names are neatly organized within a List variable. These actions are now readily available in the Studio's action list, conveniently categorized under the Excel and Google Sheets sections. We believe these enhancements will significantly contribute to your workflow efficiency and data processing capabilities. Feel free to explore and incorporate these new features into your automation projects for an improved and streamlined experience.

Robotiive just released a new version (v2.47.0) today. We added a new action category called Dialog Box. This category contains two actions. Those are Message Box and Input Box actions. You can find them in the action list in the Studio. Message Box Action: Message Box is an action to let you show up a dialog box that only shows a message. You can use this action to write a warning message, display some information or variable value, or notify the user about something that will happen next. Input Box Action: Input Box helps you to generate a dialog box with an input field that allows the user to input something to continue the Robotiive execution. You can store the inserted input in a variable to be used later.

當你截圖時，圖像的資訊量 (例如 200x200) 是不會隨著解析度改變的。 同樣的圖片，解析度比較高的時候，人看起來會比較小；如果解析度比較低的時候，人看起來會比較大。 在一般情況下，當你改變解析度的時候，腳本能正確的運行。 但是，請小心一些非預期的效應，例如作業系統/瀏覽器會自行根據解析度調整圖片大小。 建議執行一個小腳本，恢復錄製腳本時的設定即可。 調整解析度時應注意之設定，可參考此影片。

我們會強烈建議您在進行圖像框選時，不要框選到桌面/背景，這樣可以大幅減少更換桌面/背景時，腳本的出錯率。

請使用 Resize Matching 若沒看到此設定請從設定→ Experimental→開啟 Experimental Matching Methods in Image Analysis 建議： 通常不建議使用者時常改變桌面比例或圖形大小，因為這樣在 RPA 運算上會比較花時間。 建議先建立一個腳本來將電腦設定恢復成建立腳本時的設定，恢復後再執行主要要執行的腳本。

若兩部電腦的螢幕解析度不同，會導致腳本失效，以及兩部電腦的處理器效能不同，也可能使腳本運作不順利。 以下是我們的建議： 若同一個腳本要在兩部不同的電腦上執行，應先將兩部電腦解析度設為相同如：1920x1080 比例為100%。 兩部電腦的規格不要相差太多。 腳本套用後，請確認腳本中的檔案路徑是否都導向指定的資料夾，避免產生腳本錯誤。
